Ayant contacté une source québécoise anglaise, celle-ci m'a répondu ce qui suit en anglais:
Quelqu'un a entendu parlé de cette contamination?Hi Catherine,
The two main DAN practitioners here in Quebec tend to not use DMPS. Both use both DMSA (oral and suppositories) and EDTA (suppositories).
Is there a particular form of DMPS that you are interested in? Intravenous DMPS isn’t allowed in Quebec, but I know of practitioners elsewhere that do it. Transdermal DMPS is rather passé now, as it really needs to go through the gut to work well. The suppository form is quite well received, and you may be able to convince one of the DANs here to consider it, if you are committed to using DMPS, and not the other chelators.
Why is it that you want to use DMPS? [couleur=#d42a00]It isn’t used by many DANs that I know, because of the risk of contamination. When the raw material was produced in Germany, there wasn’t a problem, but the last I heard, the raw stuff was coming from Lithuania, and there were issues with it containing toxins.[/couleur]
Hope that this helps,
Julia
